Blended Learning Program: Assessing Learners Effectively Program 1

Assessing Learners Effectively is part of The VET Teaching Series: Practice which has been designed and adapted into highly interactive Blended Learning Programs for 25 participants. These virtual sessions will draw on educational theory and VET policy to promote reflective practice and build advanced training and assessment skills.

Description

The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) provides funding to the VET Development Centre (VDC), to deliver workforce development training to
improve the knowledge, skills and practice of VET teachers, trainers and assessors, and strengthen the learning environment, experience
and outcomes for all VET learners. These are specific professional learning programs for the Victorian Government funded vocational
education sector in priority areas, as a response to the Government’s commitment to quality training outcomes.

Assessing Learners Effectively has been designed and adapted into highly interactive Blended Learning Programs for 25 participants. These virtual sessions will draw on educational theory and VET policy to promote reflective practice and build advanced training and assessment skills.

Registrants will need to ensure they can attend all three online sessions and allow time to complete the activities prior to each session.

Sessions will be run in a smaller group, with break out rooms for group discussion and ample opportunity to converse with group members and the facilitator to collaborate, share ideas and insights.
