Skills First VET Teaching Program: Practice Series

Creating a Supportive Learning Environment is part of the 'VET Teaching Series: Practice' which has been designed as an interactive in-person workshop. This session will draw on educational theory and VET policy to promote reflective practice and build advanced training and assessment skills.

This session is part of the ‘VET Teaching Series: Practice’ which has been designed as an interactive hybrid workshop to draw on educational theory and VET policy to: promote reflective practice, build advanced training and assessment skills, understand learning design and, apply teaching and learning strategies to challenge and motivate individual learners.

Assessing Learners Effectively has been designed as a two-part highly interactive Blended Learning Program. These virtual sessions will draw on educational theory and VET policy to promote reflective practice and build advanced training and assessment skills.

This VET Teaching Practice workshop will draw on educational theory and VET policy to promote reflective practice and build, evaluate and improve advanced training and assessment skills. Contributing to the development and modification of assessment tools to suit student needs and context while employing a range of methods to ensure validity and reliability in assessment decisions.

This session explains what GenAI is, how it works, and what has changed since the release of ChatGPT. On Wednesday 8 October, this session will be held in Bendigo as a regional In-Person Workshop. The final session for 2025, will be held online as a Virtual Workshop on Monday 13 October.
