ACFE: Focusing on Numeracy in your Class (Intermediate to Advanced)

This Skills First program is a highly interactive three-part program and provides opportunities to build your network of contracted training providers and work collaboratively to extend your understanding of quality assessment practice and tools. Attendance is required at all three-parts of this program.

SEMESTER 2 DELIVERY: VET tailored session, enabling participants to investigate different types of professional development available to teams and how to support them so that they get the most out of professional development.

Facilitator-led Community of Practice that provides professional learning, interaction and networking. Covering core and rotating thematic content that explore matters such as climate change and the impact on learners; culturally diverse community, First Nation support and teaching/learning resources; trends and understanding VET education in Victoria.

SEMESTER 2 DELIVERY: An exploration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how to apply them in learning programs, personal practice and in context of your training organisation. Design your own lesson plan and action plan for creating change in your classroom or organisation.

This workshop will cover obligations to assess and support language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills, the framework/s used for assessment and support, LLND assessment tools and tasks, and strategies to support learners to develop the LLND skills they need.
