eLearn: Applying Reasonable Adjustment

This eLearn explores the relevant Standards that apply to reasonable adjustment as well as the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence.

Description

There are many different ways that reasonable adjustment can be applied and an RTO will never be able to think of all of them upfront as learners needs are all individual, but an RTO can plan for ways to support learners needs. This information must also be documented in an RTO’s training and assessment strategies and communicated to all involved in the delivery of the training program.

This eLearn explores the relevant Standards that apply to reasonable adjustment as well as the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence.

Topics covered include:

  • The relevant Standards and Principles of Assessment
  • Determining the support needs of the learner
  • Applying reasonable adjustment
  • Retaining evidence of reasonable adjustment.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding the relevant Standards
  • Understanding the support needs of individuals
  • Setting up the adjusted learning environment
  • Teaching and assessing to accommodate reasonable adjustment
  • Documenting reasonable adjustment
