- What’s important to manage? Well, it’s you actually.
- Managing your time
- Finding your best ways of working
- Planning for good and great conversations with your team
- Who can be your mentor?
- Why do you need a mentor? What does mentoring offer?
- How to have great conversations. Plan it! Conversation planning, for example
- Planning for discussions that work
- Some useful and easy to adapt techniques for 1-1 meetings and staff meetings
Learning Outcomes
- Some good habits and methods to tackle and manage tasks
- A sense of the importance of keeping learners at the centre of all the work you and your team do
- Confidence & Preparedness for difficult conversations
- Opportunities to network, share and discuss mentoring
Audience
This program is for training providers with a Skills First contract and is aligned to the following domains and related capabilities/learning outcomes as prescribed in the VET Practitioner Capability Framework (IBSA 2013): Teaching | Industry & Community Collaborations.
The audience for this workshop is: Coordinators or Managers that are new to the Sector, or new to Leadership.
