GUEST SPEAKER
Greening the VET Sector for Sustainability: The Role of Teachers
Dr Margarita Pavlova
With less than a decade left to realise the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a collective effort to accelerate the speed and scale in delivering the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 is required. The drive towards greener economies that brings together the environmental, social and economic advancements is an important condition for sustainable development.
The transition of workforce and labour markets towards greener economies largely depends on the VET sector and workplace learning. This presentation will focus on curriculum development and student-centred pedagogy that is required for effective delivery of Environmental Sustainable Development (ESD).
